adidas Field Socks (White/Black)

#216096.WB 80/9/7/4 acrylic/spandex/elastic/nylon. Imported.

Following fresh revelations that fellow Israeli Tal Ben Haim expected nothing good to come out of compatriot Avram Grant's tenure at Chelsea, it would seem that the dagger has sunk deeper and twisted further into the manager's back. It would not be lost on many how ironic it is for his fellow countryman to criticize his abilities, coupled with the fact that Grant does own an impressive record at Stamford Bridge since his official appointment as the new manager replacing Portuguese Jose Mourinho. However, it has been his record and tactics in crucial games that have led to calls for him to resign or be sacked from his post, for managers are judged based on the number of trophies they win, not on their overall win and loss record.

The Israeli manager has cut a curious figure ever since his arrival at the fashionable London club. Without a doubt, filling Jose Mourinho's huge shoes would be a difficult task for anyone, given the ex-Chelsea manager's achievements in his short time at the helm. Winning two titles in three season would always present a hard act to follow for any manager coming in to replace him, and while Grant accepted the task, he also made promises to owner Roman Abramovich that he would introduce the attacking style of play that the Russian so desired. It was this same demand that Mourinho failed to deliver, and which ultimately put paid to his hopes of extending a love affair with Chelsea.

Instead, Grant has continued producing teams and on-field tactics that were a mirror image of his predecessor's, churning out efficient and productive soccer teams that provided results at the expense of an open, expansive style of football that has been habitually played by the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal. Along the way, he has assured Abramovich that the attacking football would arrive with time, as he reasoned that players that have been programmed to play in one style for so long would require some time to relearn the ropes. Unfortunately, time is running short for the Israeli manager, who has often been said to be a charismatic figure with his employers, but has often cut a dull figure on the sidelines and in press conferences.

Perhaps it is time for another change at Stamford Bridge, especially given the fact that the club will now likely not snatch the English Premier League title away from current holders Manchester United. It would also seem unlikely for them to be crowned European champions, given that they have to first overcome bogey team Liverpool in the upcoming semi final. Grant has always maintained that he will leave the job if his employers expressed their dissatisfaction with his results. That time might come sooner than expected.

adidas Men's Kanadia TR Running Shoe

Get aggressive, storm that trail and kick up some dust. With its spiky, mud-shedding TRAXION outsole, air mesh ventilated upper and adiPRENE® enhanced cushioning, there's simply no stopping you.

Some people have fought many years of their lives to preserve the rich heritage of the outdoors and nature we now enjoy. That dedication and effort has been rewarded by fantastic hiking opportunities in our local, state, and national park systems. In honor of their efforts, let's break out of our winter hibernation and venture into the crisp, clean outdoor air and hit some of those dirt trails. Let's Go Hiking!

Here are 4 steps to having an enjoyable hike, no matter where your feet decide to take you.

1. Know the area you will be hiking in to. Although many states, like California, Colorado, or Wyoming have exceptional hiking hot spots, even your local park will have some kind of useful information. Whether it's a website with information and trail details, or a map at the park office, trailhead, or visitor center, always check before you head out on your hike so you know what to expect.

2. Know the conditions you will be facing, wherever you go. Nothing is worse than traveling to a hiking destination only to miss the hike, because it was raining or freezing and you weren't prepared. If the trail is flooded out, or snowy conditions have shut it down for an extended period, you should be able to find this out as well. It is also good to know if there are any plants or animals to watch out for at your hiking location. Wiping with poison ivy won't feel good in the morning.

3. Wear clothing that works and fits the terrain and hike conditions. There are many options in your clothing arsenal, to keep yourself comfortable, here are a couple of pointers:

- Try and stay away from cotton. Instead, look for synthetic and natural fibers that pull moisture away from your body, or at least stay warm when wet.

- Also, go for layers to keep yourself warm, versus carrying around a huge parka, in case you are hit by a freak snowstorm.

- The two most important pieces of clothing for any hiker, are good socks and good shoes. Don't underestimate the pain a hike can cause with uncomfortable shoes and socks.

- Finally, a hat in cold weather is a great addition, since your body loses over half its heat through your head.

4. In addition to knowing the weather conditions, you will need to be prepared with a first aid kit that's appropriate for the hiking you will be doing. In most cases a simple kit will do. You can pick up a simple first aid kit at a local department or sporting goods store. Or you can build you own, which should include these basics:

- Different sizes and shapes of bandages and gauzes.

- Various types of tape for wounds or fixing tools.

- Suntan lotion.

- A light emergency blanket (preferably with some kind of water resistance).

- Aspirin, allergy, laxative, and anti-diuretic medications.

- Small multi-use tool with a knife, scissors, and a needle and thread.

- A cell phone can come in very handy in emergencies.

It's a good idea to pack all of this in a waterproof bag or container.

Using these tips, your next hiking adventure should be quite comfortable, safe, and enjoyable!

Golf has become a much more eclectic sport than it has previously been thought as. Despite popular belief, lots of women love the sport of golf. We all know that men enjoy the relaxation and leisurely pace that comes with a good game of golf among friends, and let me tell you, so do women! I mean let's think about this: in addition to being leisurely, golfing provides women with one of their major enjoyments: socializing! Since golf can be done as a solo sport or with a group, many women flock to the sport as a chance to get physical exercise, enjoy some sunshine and fresh air, and meet with their closest friends and catch up on what's going on with one another.

It's also very well known that women love to be stylish and fashionable. Golf is no longer a sport for the retired crowd. Younger and younger women are becoming involved with this fun outdoor activity, and so many manufacturers are paying attention, and creating lines of clothing and womans golf apparel just for them!

Womans golf shirts are a very popular choice for purchasing. These shirts closely resemble mens golf shirts, but there are a few differences. First and foremost, the shirt is designed for a woman to wear, so the making of it and cut of the material, seams, etc. take into account a woman's bust and hips. Also, the shirt may be a bit longer, and most of these golf shirts will also hug the waist with a nice comfortable taper. Like the mens shirts, womans golf shirts come in a variety of colors (yes ladies, you can buy them in pink!), materials, stripes, polka-dots, plaids and solids, and a few different styles. Most of the shirts available feature sun protection as well.

Shoe manufacturers are catering to the preferences of woman golfers, and today's lineup of womans golf shoes proves that statement to be true! Puma, adidas, Nike and many other manufacturers of shoes and golf shoes are creating lines just for women. Womans golf shoes are designed with comfort and support in mind, but style hasn't been forgotten! They make womens Golf shirts to match! With colors like black, pink and baby blue, woman golfers will be able to match their shoes to their outfits.

Why go grab another cup of coffee? Mix it up a bit and try something new. You may find as I have that Golf is actually a quite fun and satisfying pass time. Not only is it fun, but the whole ritual of Golfing from what you are going to wear to what bag your precious set of clubs will go in. It is physical - but not overwhelming. Women and men alike need their daily dose of sunshine to boost that mood and feeling the grass beneath your feet, this helps remind us of the constant life happening all around us, all the time.

Kimberly Green is finding that there may be a place for her on the putting green after all with her new womens golf shoes. When there is shopping to be done, you can count her in! and yes, she bought a womens golf shirt to match.

adidas Women's Megabounce+ 2008 Running Shoe

A cushioned ride is good. A cool, cushioned, energy-returning ride is even better. This shoe has a breathable layered upper and improved Megabounce heel for a more comfortable, enjoyable run.

As an athletically minded individual, I am extremely grateful for the existence of modern athletic shoes (sometimes called tennis shoes or sneakers). If you're ever bored, consider for a moment what it would have been like to be a devotee of physical activity 100 years ago. Shoes at the beginning of the 20th century didn't exactly scream comfort. If you wanted to pursue a sport in those days, you were basically stuck with your everyday footwear. Contrarily, the athletes of the 21st century can chose from a dizzying array of athletic shoe options, each designed to cater to the demands of a specific sport or pastime.

All athletic shoes serve the same basic purpose: to protect the wearer's feet by mitigating the challenges of whatever pastime they are pursuing. To that end, they all feature soles made of dense rubber and bodies of flexible materials that allow the foot to breathe. Some "athletic shoes" are not really intended for physical activity; rather, they are designed to mimic the style of true athletic shoes for fashion purposes. Such shoes can sometimes be slipped on and off, depending only on Velcro or elastic for a tight fit. However, true athletic shoes always feature shoelaces that can be laced up and over the arch of a foot, tightened according to the needs and desires of the wearer.

Beyond this basic definition, there are numerous kind of athletic shoes, all designed for specific athletic pursuits. For example, some athletic shoes are intended simply for running. Such shoes possess specific features to help the athlete in that physical exercise. Running shoes are lightweight so as not to slow down the wearer. They provide a great deal of cushioning, the better to protect the feet from repeated impact with the ground. Additionally, those running shoes specifically designed for racing have no heel to speak of. The lack of heel improves the foot-to-ground power transfer, allowing the runner to race more efficiently.

Cross-trainers are a popular kind of athletic shoe. The advantage of this shoe style is that is it balances support and cushioning with flexibility and light weight. It can be used for running, walking, tennis, aerobics and many other kinds of exercise. All of the large athletic shoe brands manufacture cross-trainers, including Nike, Adidas, Reebok, New Balance and many others.

Still other athletic shoes are designed for trail hiking and running. These shoes feature relatively high tops, which increases support for the ankle. Also, trail shoes have additional treads on the soles, the better to provide superior traction on uneven terrain. These shoes are ideal for hiking trails that require more support than provided by typical athletic shoes, but do not necessitate traditional hiking boots.

Lastly, some athletic shoes are designed simply for walking. These shoes are excellent for everyday life, especially when an individual has a job that requires being up and about all day. Walking shoes are designed to provide stable and secure support for long periods of time. Additionally, they often feature moisture-wicking materials that prevent feet from becoming too hot and sweaty. Walking shoes are especially popular among nurses, who have to be on the go all day long.
